Phillips Heritage Courtyard Cafe, CBD Sydney (4 Feb 2015)

45 Phillip Street, Sydney NSW 2000

Courtyard with a coffee

If you're looking for a hideaway for your coffee then this hidden courtyard might suit. It's my first time visit to this leafy oasis underneath the Governor Phillip Tower. I've always wondering what was through the heritage terrace on Phillip St marked with a sign. Seems to be a popular spot for office coffee breaks and takeaways. My Cappuccino ($3.70) is made with Gabriel Coffee and robust in flavour. Orders need to be made at the service counter but if dining in they'll bring it out to your table. Daily newspapers available for perusing and service seemed pretty efficient.

SNAPSHOT REVIEW:
PROS: Relaxing surrounds on a nice day, Plenty of seating that's spaced apart for private conversations, Award winning Gabriel Coffee
CONS: Avoid on rainy and windy days, Air vent from in front of the service counter makes a noticeable humming sound so best not to sit near by, Can still hear the noisy buses on Phillip Street
MUST TRY: Having a team meeting here
VERDICT: Seems like a popular spot for a coffee break amongst the natural surrounds and fresh air
Cappuccino ($3.70)

Phillips Heritage looks like a nice place in Sydney for coffee, to catch up with a friend, or a business meeting. It appears quite a charming little outdoor courtyard.
